With only two points separating Melbourne Demons and the Western Bulldogs at the top of the AFL ladder, there is a lot riding on this weekend's game. A win for either side could be a catalyst for a Grand Final push, with a loss potentially denting confidence going into the business end of the campaign.
Melbourne also have a game in hand after an early coronavirus-related postponement. The Demons have finally shown some excellent signs in recent weeks to get their campaign heading in the right direction. The inconsistent Bulldogs could have their hands full at Metricon Stadium.
The opening bounce is at 1:45pm AEST at Metricon Stadium on the Gold Coast on Saturday 22 August. You can check out the full 2020 AFL draw here
